Some thoughts on this race:  (1) The easiest way to get there is via the train (160 yen from Fussa to Nishi Tachikawa).  While there is ample parking for cars, the cost is approx 1,000 yen and parking can be a real problem. Cycling or running are also options. (2) Plan to arrive early, as it takes about 15 minutes to find the start area, and more time to get registered/organized.  (3) Normally entrance into the park costs Y400 per adult, and Y80 per child 4 yrs and older, however, there are free passes for runners and support team. The race is fairly well organized, has ample water stops, and is a scenic run. I didn't see many porta-poties, but there are a number of rest rooms within the park. Plan to stop on the way to registration.
